Raw Tail-on Shrimp Skewer Double Pierced

Thawing Instructions
Remove the Blue Sea® frozen shrimp skewers from individually wrapped plastic bags. Thaw it in still water about 15 minutes, until the shrimp is fully thawed.
 
 
Tandoori Shrimp
INGREDIENTS:

4-5 Blue Sea® Shrimp Skewers
1/2 cup plain yogurt 
3/4 tspn garlic powder 
3/4 tspn red chili powder
1 tspn vegetable oil
1/2 cup Lemon juice

 

     
  DIRECTIONS:  
 
  • Combine the yogurt, garlic powder, red chili powder, and oil in a bowl to prepare the mixture for marinating.
  • Marinate the shrimp skewers for a minimum of 3 hours in the mixture.
  • Cook or broil the shrimp until they firm and pink.
  • Sprinkle with lemon juice.
  • This dish is traditionally cooked in a tandoori clay oven but may also be grilled over a barbecue or broiled in the oven.
